Game of Thrones Recast

Game of Thrones Recast

I was shocked when I saw that the character, Daario Naharis, had been replaced on HBO’s Game of Thrones based on The Song of Fire and Ice by George R.R. Martin.

What? Why?

Ok, originally Daario was played by actor Ed Skrien. Now, his character is portrayed by Micheal Huisman.

So far, the largest rumor of the switch is Ed Skrien got a job in a Transporter movie to play a younger Jason Statham. I don’t know if this is true or not.

My question is why couldn’t Skrien do both?

I don’t mind that there is different actor as Daario. It happens sometimes for various reasons.

However, personally, I think the chemistry between Emilia Clarke/Daenerys Targaryen and Ed Skrien/Daario Naharis was smoking hot.

And the chemistry with the new guy? Not even a tendril of smoke. Nothing against the actor, Micheal, but I don’t see the pizzazz between his character and Emilia’s that I did previously.

How about you? Do you disagree?

I agree with you 100%. The first actor and her were way better together.
